Young-duk Kang, a South Korean national, bought the club in 2010, a year after it had started out as Rose Asia Football Club. Rose Asia became Rose Asia United Thanyaburi, then Thanyaburi United.
From 2012 to 2017 it was Grakcu Looktabfah, a feeder side for Air Force United. In 2013 it finished third in the Thai League 4 Central-West Division and reached the quarter-finals of the Thai FA Cup.
The current name arrived in 2018, when the club became Grakcu Sai Mai United and settled in the Sai Mai district of Bangkok. It finished third again that season, this time in the Thai League 4 Bangkok Metropolitan Region. The colours are aqua blue and white, and the Grakcu United Stadium holds 2,000.
The club has won no league title or cup. Its third-place finishes are the high points, and it made the step up to Thai League 3 before dropping out of it at the end of the 2021–22 season.
Since then it has played in the Thailand Amateur League, Bangkok Metropolitan Region. Phatcharat Rattanasutthapaboon is chairman and Tewesh Kamonsin is head coach.
