Harborough Town

Corby Town and Kettering Town sit closest on the map, and matches against either are still called derbies around Bowden Park.

Harborough Town started life in 1975 as a youth side, Harborough Town Juniors, and only became the club now known as the Bees after a 2007/2008 merger with Spencer United and Harborough Minis folded three sets of players into one. A Leicester & District Mutual League title as Spencer United in 1977–78, the Northamptonshire Combination in 2009–10, the United Counties League Premier Division South in 2021–22, and the Southern League Premier Division Central in 2025–26.

Under manager Mitch Austin the club went up to the Northern Premier League Premier Division in 2024, and that same campaign it reached the FA Cup First Round Proper and knocked out Bury.

The name that travelled furthest to reach Bowden Park is Sandro — Sandro Raniere Guimarães Cordeiro, the Brazilian who had played for Tottenham Hotspur and taken Olympic silver in 2012 before signing for Harborough Town in November 2024. Richard Stearman came up through the club's youth ranks before going on to play for England.
