Inter Willemstad

Bramendiweg Sportpark holds 1,000 people, and the club has played there since 1950, eleven years after a group of KLM employees started it because the Shell refinery's sports association had shut them out. Founded on 28 April 1939, C.V.V. Inter Willemstad began as a side for people who had nowhere else to play, and it is a membership association with more than 600 members and a youth academy of about 450 players.

The green and white shirts gave the club its nickname, Groen Wit Bazuin, the Green-White Trumpet. The first trophy came in 1944, the Peace Trophy (Vrijheidstrophe). After that the club spent decades in the lower reaches of Curaçao football.

The 2025/26 season changed that. Inter Willemstad won the Curaçao Promé Divishon for the first time, beating Scherpenheuvel 1–0 in the final. Scherpenheuvel is a rival, and the other rivalry, with Victory Boys, has produced violent incidents involving supporters.

Selwin Balentien is the manager and Lysander Marchena the chairman. The club now has a first championship to defend from a ground that seats 1,000.
