Juventus Next Gen

Alessandria won the Coppa Italia Serie C in May 2020, and the trophy belonged to a side that had never fielded a senior professional match under its own name until two years earlier: Juventus Under-23, put together in Turin to give young players a step between the Primavera academy and the first team. Nicolò Fagioli, Fabio Miretti and Kenan Yildiz all passed through its dressing room before moving upstairs; Dean Huijsen and Samuel Iling-Junior followed the same route.

The name changed to Juventus Next Gen in August 2022, but the shirt did not: black-and-white stripes, the same nicknames as the senior side, Le Zebre and I Bianconeri, worn by a team that plays in Serie C rather than the academy leagues. In Piedmont that produces a fixture with a history of its own, the Derby Piemontese against Pro Vercelli.

Ground has shifted with circumstance. The club spent the 2024–25 season at the Stadio La Marmora-Pozzo in Biella before returning for 2025–26 to the Stadio Giuseppe Moccagatta in Alessandria, a ground built for a city with no senior club of its own to fill it, and one that now holds 5,827 for a Juventus side.
