Schengen

There is no fixed enemy across the border here: FC Schengen's cup runs have thrown them at CS Fola Esch and AS Jeunesse Esch, clubs from a different weight class of Luxembourg football, and both meetings ended the same way — the smaller side going out. In the 2022–23 Luxembourg Cup they reached the Round of 16 before Fola Esch ended it, and two seasons earlier a Second Round tie against Differdange 03 finished 1–5 before the competition itself was called off.

The club started out in 1975 as Les Amis de la Moselle Remerschen, before becoming FC Schengen in 2012. Promotion has come slowly: the step up to the 1. Division, in the league's 2. Bezirk, arrived only in 2022, and it stands as the closest thing the club has to a honour.

Orange and white are the club's colours, worn by a side.

Matches are played in Remerschen, on the artificial pitch of Terrain de Foot de Remerschen, where floodlights let games run into the evening. The ground has room, on paper, for 1,500, though there are no real seated stands to fill.
