Stade de Mbour

Stade Caroline Faye holds 5,000, and Stade de Mbour do not have it to themselves: Mbour Petite-Côte FC play there as well. So the Derby de Mbour, also called the Derby de la Petite Côte, is a fixture between two tenants of one ground.

The club dates from 1960 and wears red and white. Its earliest trophy is the Coupe du Sénégal Juniors of 1997. The Coupe du Parlement followed in 2010.

The Coupe de la Ligue Sénégalaise of 2017 came by a different route from the other two. It was awarded to Mbour on appeal after the Demba Diop stadium disaster, so the club received it through a ruling rather than on the pitch. The same year Mbour lost the final of the Coupe du Sénégal. They had also reached that final in 2008 and reached it again in 2023, and each time they finished as runners-up.

The league has followed the same pattern. Mbour finished second in Ligue 2 in 2013 and again in 2022. In 2025 they were second once more.

French-language sports reports call the side Les Mbourois. It is the demonym for the people of Mbour, so the nickname is the town's own name for its inhabitants.
