Tubize

Eden Hazard came back to Tubize in 2025 not to play but to run the place. Thorgan, Kylian and Ethan Hazard all came up through the same youth academy, some of them by way of Braine before joining Tubize itself.

The club now called Royale Union Tubize-Braine only exists in that form since 1 July 2021, when AFC Tubize merged with Royal Stade Brainois.

On the pitch, the high point came in 2008, when AFC Tubize finished second in the Second Division and won the promotion play-offs to reach the Belgian First Division. South African international Quinton Fortune played that lone top-flight season, and Enzo Scifo coached the side through the rise that got them there, but the club did not score away, but conceded.

South Korean group Sportizen, led by Chankoo Shim, bought the club in 2014 and then stopped investing by 2019, leaving a debt of over a million euros that dragged Tubize down to the Amateur Division that year and again in 2020. They answered by winning the Second Amateur Division in 2020-21, a season cut short by the pandemic, before folding into the merger with Brainois that summer.
