Vanraure Hachinohe

Two amateur sides in Hachinohe — Hachinohe Industry SC and Nango FC — put themselves together in April 2006, and the merged club took a made-up name built from Italian: derivante for origin, australe for southern, pointing back at Nango in the south of the city. The club has not changed it since.

The climb was slow and administrative before it was sporting. A limited company, Vanraure Hachinohe Co., Ltd., was set up in January 2014; the Tōhoku League Division 2 title of 2011 and the JFL Apertura of 2015 sit either side of that paperwork. Entry to the J3 League followed in 2016, and with it the move to Prifoods Stadium, a 5,200-capacity ground that had already been through two names — Hachinohe Sports Park Athletic Stadium, then Hachinohe Go-Go Stadium — before the current one.

Third place in 2018 came early enough to look like a trajectory, but the club finished second in 2025 and went up to the J2 League.

Aomori Prefecture has been the reliable ground. The prefectural championship has gone to Hachinohe eleven times since 2010, including four in a row from 2021. The third round in 2017, 2019 and 2021 is as far as it has gone in the Emperor's Cup. The fixture that matters most locally is against Reinmear Aomori, the Aomori Derby.

Of those who passed through, Goh Dong-min left in 2020 for Daegu FC after two seasons; Oriola Sunday spent 2022 and 2023 on loan from Tokushima Vortis before joining Omiya Ardija.
