Wiltz

Am Pëtz has held 3,000 people since Wiltz moved there in 2015, leaving behind Stade Géitz. Red and white are the colours worn on it, a scheme the club calls Rot a Wäiss at home.

The club itself formed on 12 March 1971, when Union Sportive Niederwiltz, a side dating back to 1920, merged with FC Gold a Ro't Wiltz. Six times Wiltz won the Promotion d'Honneur, the country's second tier — in 1981, 1986, 1994, 2002 and 2010, with the 1991 title coming through play-offs for a place among the elite. National Division football never yielded a championship; the club's best league finish was fifth, reached in 1996/97 and again in 2005/06.

The closest Wiltz came to a major trophy was the 2000/01 Coupe de Luxembourg, where the team reached the final and lost 5-3 to Etzella Ettelbruck — the same Etzella that plays Wiltz in what stands as the club's derby. Semi-final defeats followed in later cup runs, against US Hostert in 2017/18 and FC Differdange 03 in 2024/25.

One name outlasts the rest in the club's history: over two spells, 1981 to 1985 and 1988 to 1995, a player put together 238 appearances and 93 goals in the red and white. Cameroonian forward Samuel Ipoua also passed through Wiltz at one point in a career that took him to Nice, Torino, Rapid Vienna and the 1998 World Cup with Cameroon.

What still eludes Wiltz is a national title. Fifth place in the top division, reached twice, remains the ceiling, and the Coupe de Luxembourg has come no closer than that one final in 2001.
