Ahi Stadyumu

Built in 1969 as the Ahi Evran Stadı, the venue has seen the local colours change from green and white to black and white since Kırşehirspor folded in 2013. The current groundshare belongs to Kırşehir Belediyespor, a club that has struggled to find stability in the lower tiers of Turkish football.

The layout is unusual for its size. One side features an open terrace with green seating, while the opposite end is dominated by the long, sheltered structure. A dirt track separates the stands from the pitch, giving the ground a slightly remote feel, as if it sits on the edge of the town rather than in its centre. The surrounding hills are visible beyond the floodlights, framing the 7,500-capacity arena in a way that makes it feel smaller than its figures suggest.

The surface is natural grass, but the condition varies with the season. In the colder months the pitch can look patchy, while summer brings a greener, though sometimes dry, appearance. The field dimensions are 105 metres by 68 metres, standard for domestic play but played out on a ground where the atmosphere is often quiet until the final whistle.

There is no private website for the stadium, and the address—1495 Sokak No:1 in the Güldiken neighbourhood—is not a destination for visitors unless they have business on matchday. The name change to Kırşehir Ahi Stadyumu did little to alter the building's character; it remains a functional, unpretentious space. Money has not come for the hosts in recent years, and the infrastructure reflects that. The red roof is the only feature that demands attention, standing out against the grey sky and the brown earth of the running track.
