FC Anyang have made this their home since 2013, using the ground for their matches in the K League 2. The capacity is around 17,000, though temporary standing areas can increase the number of spectators on the day. The club recorded its highest official attendance figure recently, drawing a crowd of over 12,000 for a fixture against Suwon Samsung Bluewings.
The stadium opened in 1986, but the last major structural change was the addition of night floodlights in 1997. The track has remained in place ever since, a constant reminder of the venue's multi-purpose origins.
Plans for a renovation were announced in 2025, as part of a wider smart city development plan for Anyang.
