Bishopton Road West

Bishopton Road West is a football ground in Stockton-on-Tees, but it is best known by its sponsorship name, the MAP Group UK Stadium. The club moved to these facilities in April 2008, following a £1.4 million investment that initially opened a new clubhouse. The full stadium infrastructure, including the 3G artificial turf pitch and stands, was completed later, with sources citing the opening of the stadium facility in 2015 or the spring of 2016. The venue is situated at Bishopton Road West, Stockton-on-Tees, TS19 0QD. The playing surface is artificial (3G turf). The current capacity is 2,200, including 600 seated places, although some sources list it as 1,800. The stadium's former names include the MAP UK Stadium and MAP Group UK Stadium due to sponsorship. The attendance record for the ground is 3,300, set during the FA Vase semi-final against Marske United on 25 March 2018. Notable events include Stockton Town FC's historic runs in the FA Vase, reaching the final in 2018, and their FA Cup Third Qualifying Round match against Chester FC in 2024. The venue is distinct from the Riverside Stadium in Middlesbrough, which is the home of Middlesbrough FC.
