Campo da Boa Hora

The building that houses the changing rooms for Atlético Clube de Arrentela does not look like a football stadium. The complex sits in Arrentela, a parish in Seixal, where the main tenant has played since the turn of the millennium.

The ground itself carries a synthetic pitch, laid down in 2009 with backing from the local council. It replaced the older natural surfaces that were in use before, giving the club a consistent surface regardless of the weather in Setúbal. The capacity of the venue is 3,000, a modest figure for a place that has occasionally hosted senior matches for Belenenses SAD.

The club, originally founded as Arrentela Foot-Ball Club in 1925, moved into this modern complex in October 2000. The new building replaced older grounds that had shared the name Campo da Boa Hora in the parish, but the current structure is distinct. It is part of a larger sports complex that includes other facilities, though the stadium remains the central point for local football.

The venue is often called Campo do Arrentela by locals, though the official name is Campo da Boa Hora. Neither name refers to the broader Complexo Desportivo de Arrentela, which encompasses the whole site. The club has used the ground as a base for years, though the senior teams have sometimes played elsewhere when required.
