The name Chi Lăng sits on two different grounds. The original stadium, built in 1954 on the banks of the Hàn River, served as the home of SHB Đà Nẵng for four decades until 2016. The club moved on. That old venue hosted the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2016 Asian Beach Games.
The current Chi Lăng Stadium is located in Hòa Xuân Ward, at the end of Văn Tiến Dũng Street. It was built as the Hòa Xuân Stadium and opened in August 2016. The new ground features a natural grass surface with an automatic irrigation system. There is unrest in the dressing room when the history of the name is discussed.
The cost of building this place was 281 billion VND. There is no website for the stadium. The old one had a record attendance, but the number was not found. The new one is home to SHB Đà Nẵng.
