Cizre Şehir Stadyumu

The pitch is surfaced with artificial turf, installed during a renovation completed in November 2020 under the direction of the local governor. This repair work extended to the locker rooms and underground infrastructure, updating the facility to serve both Cizrespor and Cizre Belediye Spor. The stadium holds a modest 1,000 spectators.

The most significant detail is not the surface, but the fact that the home team was occasionally forced to play matches in other cities such as Şanlıurfa due to security concerns.

Historically, the venue has seen moments that reached far beyond the local league. Local team Cizrespor defeated Göztepe 2-0 in the Turkish Cup in October 2014, becoming the first amateur league team to reach the group stage of the competition. Another match, against Gençlerbirliği in December 2014, was interrupted due to explosive devices thrown from outside the stadium.

A plan for a new 10,000-seat stadium was announced by President Erdoğan in March 2019, but the current situation remains anchored in the simpler, more constrained reality of the existing ground.
