Cleric Stadium

Booth Street has sat on the upper half of West Field since 1903, when the club moved away from the Chaddock-Lowndes ground at the top of the same street. The pitch is natural grass, and the ground holds 1,500 spectators, of whom 250 have a seat.

The club calls the venue Cleric Stadium now, though the older name Booth Street still surfaces in local references. The Wednesday Club banner on the far side thanks supporters for their patience through recent seasons. Players in red training tops can be seen working the ball near the corner flag, while the advertising boards for Tandom Metallurgical Group Ltd and Cleric Cleaning line the white hoarding. The address remains Booth Street, and the website ctfc.club is the only digital door into the club.

There is no floodlighting, no hospitality suite, and no second stand. The wind comes straight through the open end, and the terrace fills quickly when the Northern Premier League fixture arrives. The ground does not pretend to be anything other than what it is: a small, working piece of Cheshire football.
