Complexo Desportivo de Valadares opened in 2011, a project shaped by the hands of the Vila Nova de Gaia municipality. It sits on Rua Carreira Funda and has served as the base for Valadares Gaia F.C. since the club’s own inception.
The pitch is synthetic, a surface that has seen years of rain and matches. While there have been whispers of replacement in municipal reports for 2026, the ground remains as it has been. In November 2019, the place found itself empty of normal limits when a Portuguese Women's League match against SL Benfica drew a crowd of 23,400.
The ground has also held its own in cup competitions. On October 16, 2022, Valadares Gaia defeated Primeira Liga side Desportivo de Chaves with a 3–2 victory after extra time. The women’s team followed suit, reaching the semi-finals of the Taça da Liga in 2024 and hosting Benfica on home turf.
