GIKEN Stadium

It is a multi-purpose ground, and you can see that in the layout. The capacity was modest then, but the renovation for the 2002 festival saw the numbers rise to 25,000.

Most visitors will know it as the home of Kochi United SC, though the club has changed its name since then. The facility also hosts rugby, and the Japan Rugby Top League has used it for matches involving NTT Communications Shining Arcs. The original name was Kochi Haruno Athletic Stadium, but a naming rights deal with Giken Seisakusho Co., Ltd, a local construction equipment manufacturer, changed things on the first of January 2026. The deal runs for three years and three months.

The surface is natural grass, maintained for both football and rugby use. The stadium is part of the Kochi Prefectural Haruno Sports Park, run by the Kochi Prefecture Sports Promotion Foundation.
