Halcánorás

Chalkanoras Stadium sits quietly in Dali, a village in the Nicosia District of Cyprus. It is not a place for grand spectacles. The ground is named in honour of Dimitris Chamatsos, a former player for the club who was killed in action during the 1964 conflicts in Cyprus.

The pitch is natural grass for a venue that hosts the football club Chalkanoras Idaliou. The capacity is reported as 2,000 spectators, though some sources suggest 1,000. The structure itself is modest, featuring covered seating areas that are primarily standing terraces with limited seated areas, typical for Cypriot Second Division venues.

Chalkanoras Idaliou has spent most of its existence below the top flight, despite winning the Cypriot Second Division championship in 1976 and the Cypriot Third Division titles in 1999 and 2010. They were a founding member of the EPOPL (Nicosia Provincial Football Federation) in 1960. The club played two seasons in the Cypriot First Division back in the late 1970s, finishing 12th in 1976–77 and last in 1977–78 before being relegated.
