Lébényi Sportpálya The pitch is natural grass, unadorned by floodlights or a running track.

The capacity is modest—1,500 seats or standing places. On a spring afternoon in 1999, when Debreceni VSC came to play in the National Championship, the place filled to 600. That was the high water mark. 300 for a local fixture, 200 for another, sometimes just a hundred souls turning up to see who would win. The numbers do not rise; they stay where they belong.

Ownership rests with the municipality, which tends the grounds much as it tends the streets. Maintenance works have been commissioned over the years, landscaping awarded to local firms, tasks completed without fanfare. The club that calls it home, Lébény SE, plays in the lower divisions, keeping its place in the regional structure without seeking promotion to grander stages.

Beyond football, the space serves the community. It hosts the May Day Festival and the Flavor Day, occasions where the pitch becomes a gathering place rather than a sporting arena. The ground has no former names, no history of being renamed or rebranded. It has always been Lébényi Sportpálya, and it will remain so.

There is nothing ceremonial about the place. No plaque marks a forgotten victory, no bench bears the name of a legend. It is simply where games are played, where people meet, and where the seasons turn without ceremony.
