M.U.S Stadion Sandskogan

The ground at Stokkanvegen 18D does not look like much from the outside, but it sits on a different logic than the older pitches in Trøndelag. It opened in 2020, replacing the old Blinkbanen, which had served the locals since 2012. The new turf is a fourth-generation synthetic, supplied by Unisport Scandinavia, but it is the composition that matters here. It uses a sand coating rather than rubber granulate, making it the first environmentally friendly solution of its kind for elite football in Norway. There is no rubber in the surface.

Stjørdals-Blink call this place home, and the capacity is generally accepted as 2,000, though the figures in the database argue between that and 2,500. The discrepancy comes down to whether standing room is counted, but the official seating sits at 2,000. The pitch itself is 105 by 68 meters. It was not always called what we see today. For the first five years it stood there, it carried the name M.U.S-Stadion Sandskogan, tied to the construction firm that built it. When that deal expired in February 2025, the sponsorship shifted to Tverås Maskin & Transport AS, and the sign changed to TMT-Stadion Sandskogan.

The stadium has seen its share of winter mud and summer sun, but the big nights happen in the cup. But the record belongs to a later meeting with Vålerenga.
