Palapye Stadium The ground is a functional pitch laid with synthetic turf and steel stands that offer a view of the surrounding development.

The facility is home to Morupule Wanderers FC, a club that has existed since 1977, and Santa Green FC. The players from both sides walk onto the same surface that was laid down in 2022, a date that marks the beginning of a new era for the district. The construction was overseen by a local firm.

The stadium was constructed as part of a corporate initiative to leave a legacy in the region. The investment included not just the football field, but also a netball pitch and parking for two hundred cars.

The ground is known locally by another name, derived from the mine that supports the teams that play there. The stadium does not seek to represent Botswana on a wider stage, but it provides a space for the local football to flourish.
