Queensgate

Queensgate is a ground that has worn many names over the years. It is the home of Bridlington Town, a club that has seen its fortunes change with the times.

There is a sense of community in the way the ground operates. A modular clubhouse was completed in August 2020, funded by local development programmes rather than corporate wealth.

The history here is rooted in local cups rather than national stages. The club won the FA Vase in 1993, beating Tiverton Town at Wembley, and reached the final again in 1990. The ground has also hosted Bridlington Trinity for a period in the 1980s, sharing its resources when space was tight. Today, it carries the name sponsored by HDM Energies, a reminder of the changing landscape of non-league football.
