It is not just a football ground; it has hosted the **Individual Speedway World Championship Final** and the **European Games**. The surface is natural grass, and the capacity has been trimmed to around 54,000 from its original vast size. This reduction was a condition of the modernisation, aligning the facility with **UEFA** standards rather than the old days of standing on terraces. The club Ruch Chorzów uses the ground for its biggest matches, including the **Great Silesian Derby**, and the national team plays its home games here.

The interior spaces reflect a modern approach to visitor experience, focusing on comfort and functionality. The stadium is open to the public for tours, inviting people to see the scale of the roof and the depth of the stands. It is a place that has adapted to new requirements while retaining its central role in Polish sport. The roof, once a source of delay, now shelters the crowd from the weather, allowing matches to proceed regardless of rain.
