The name comes first: Mokri Dolac, "wet hollow." Football arrived here before the stadium did — NK Zidar played on the sodden ground back in 1950, and the first recorded fixture on the site, between NK Boksit Posušje and NK Lokomotiva Mostar, dates to 1963.
What HŠK Posušje plays on today took shape in May 1998, when the rebuilt ground opened and the club moved in for the 1998-99 season. The pitch itself was relaid as a hybrid surface.
Mokri Dolac holds 5,040. The address, Stjepana Radića 7, puts it in the middle of the town it serves, on the same patch of ground the club has occupied, in one form or another, for most of the past seven decades.
