The ground sits in the Police neighbourhood of Trebinje, in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The stadium opened in 1925, a long time before the modern era of footballing infrastructure, yet it has not been frozen in time.
The club’s history is written in the results played here. In May 2003, FK Leotar secured a 2-2 draw against NK Željezničar, a result that helped them claim the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina title. They have also won the Cup of Republika Srpska three times and the First League of Republika Srpska once on this soil.
The venue has also been used for non-sporting events. On August 3, 2024, it hosted a concert by the band Bijelo Dugme, described as the biggest in Trebinje's history. The capacity is listed as 8,550, though some sources suggest a lower figure. The tower, however, remains a constant presence, watching over the matches and the town.
