Station Road
Derby (Mickleover), United Kingdom
Formerly: Don Amott Arena, Mickleover Sports Ground
The ground on Station Road in Mickleover sits quietly at the edge of Derby. It holds a modest 1,500 spectators. The pitch is artificial turf, a practical surface that has kept the fixtures running through the wettest Derbyshire winters.
What distinguishes the venue is not its grandeur but its recent transformation. The regeneration project moved the pitch twenty metres from its original position. That move required rebuilding the stand at the Station Road end and replacing the seating in the main terrace.
The club also welcomes Derby County Women to the same grounds, sharing the facilities and the community feel.
