Szegedi VSE Stadion

The Szegedi VSE Stadion has sheltered two thousand seated spectators since the late 1930s.

There is a sense of space here, likely because the venue lacks floodlights. When the home side, Szegedi VSE, takes the field, they are playing on land they have owned since 2012, a fact that grounds them in the community.

The name has changed with the times, from Vasutas to SZVSE, but the location on Kossuth Lajos sugárút has remained constant. Today, it is a modest venue, yet it holds a specific place in the city's sporting memory, not because of grand renovations, but because it has simply endured.
