UiTM Stadium: Stadium in Shah Alam

The pitch at the UiTM Stadium is not set in a city centre but sits quietly on the campus of Universiti Teknologi MARA, tucked away in Section 1 of Shah Alam. It is a modest ground, built specifically to support the university and its football club, UiTM United FC. Unlike the grand perimeters found elsewhere in Malaysia, this is a functional space.

The stadium has never been a place for gladiators, but it has hosted the national team.

The record for attendance here is an oddity.

The tenants come and go, but the university remains. UiTM United FC has called this home since its founding in 2008, sharing the space with the Selangor under-23 squad and the women’s team. The ground itself does not change its name or its purpose; it is simply a place where the game is played, the grass is cut, and the university continues to exist.
