Wadham Lodge Sports Ground sits on Kitchener Road. It opened in 1930, but the date matters less than the buildings that still stand. A half-timbered pavilion from before the Second World War sits alongside a two-storey brick structure from the same era. These are not relics behind glass; they are used every matchday.

The surface is synthetic, a 3G pitch that replaces the mud that used to define these fixtures. Floodlights arrived in the winter of 1988-89, allowing evening games long before the modern era. The capacity is listed as 3,500 in most records, though older German sources insist on 2,000. That era ended in 2023 when the visitors moved on, leaving Walthamstow FC as the main tenant. They returned in 2013 after a long absence, carrying the weight of former names—Leyton Pennant, Waltham Forest.

Attendance rarely fills the stands. The record sits at 248 people, set in 2018. There is no pretence of grandeur here. It is a working ground, operated by a trust, where Tottenham Hotspur’s academy once brought their stars for training sessions.
