Zeeco Stadium

The turf at Ryhall Road sits uneasily where a century of football once stood, having replaced Hanson’s Field in December 2014. The new ground, initially known as Borderville Sports Centre, opened its doors with a 2-2 draw against Nantwich Town on the 13th of that month. It is a modest affair, holding just 2,000 spectators, a fraction of the crowds that might gather elsewhere, yet it remains the only professional football venue in Stamford.

The construction was a joint effort with New College, Stamford, and the stands were installed by Stadium Solutions. While the surface is natural grass, the profile was noted as shallow when the ground first opened. The capacity includes a small section of seated accommodation, roughly 250 to 300 places, while the rest of the support remains on terraces.

A replay against Wrexham AFC on 15 October 2016 drew 1,264 people. That record, however, was eventually surpassed. On 8 July 2025, a pre-season friendly against Peterborough United attracted 1,771 spectators, setting the official attendance record.

The ground currently carries the Zeeco Stadium moniker due to sponsorship.
