ICC Women's T20 World Cup Africa Div Two QLF (Kenya) 2023/24

The ICC Women's T20 World Cup Africa Division Two Qualifier operates as the second tier of the African qualification pathway for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup. Organized by the International Cricket Council (ICC) through its regional body, ICC Africa, the tournament was formally established in 2023. It replaced the previous single-stage Africa Region Qualifier structure to accommodate emerging nations, with the first edition held in Gaborone, Botswana.

In 2023, Kenya Women won the edition, defeating host nation Botswana by 9 wickets in the final. Both teams advanced to Division One. The format featured eight teams divided into two groups of four, with the top two from each group advancing to semi-finals, a third-place playoff, and a final. The competition also hosted an edition in 2025 in Botswana, where Sierra Leone Women defeated Rwanda Women in the final to win the Division Two title and secure promotion to Division One.

The top two teams from Division Two qualify for the Division One Qualifier. Conversely, the bottom teams from Division One are relegated to Division Two, creating a fluid promotion and relegation system between the two tiers. Division One features higher-ranked teams such as Namibia, Zimbabwe, and Nigeria, who compete for spots in the Global Qualifier. The 2025 Division One winners, Namibia and Zimbabwe, advanced to the Global Qualifier. The competition distinguishes itself from the Division One event by its focus on development and promotion rather than direct World Cup qualification, serving as a crucial stepping stone for nations like Kenya, Botswana, and Sierra Leone in the African cricket hierarchy.
