About the player
Aristot Tambwe-Kasengele is a centre-back who came through SK Rapid Wien's youth ranks before stepping up to the club's reserve side in 2021, where he made 71 league appearances. In July 2025 he left on a free transfer and joined Admira Wacker Mödling.
Eligible for both Austria and the Democratic Republic of the Congo through his heritage, Tambwe-Kasengele has so far represented Austria exclusively at youth level. He was capped twice for the Austria under-18 side in 2022, scoring once, and was called up to the under-21 squad in August 2024, where he features in the UEFA European Under-21 Championship statistics.
