About the player
Benjamin Glitia was born in Vienna and has come through the Admira Wacker academy after arriving there permanently in February 2016, following a short spell in the club's youth setup a year earlier and two periods at SV Mitterndorf. He made his way up through the youth ranks before stepping into senior football with Admira Wacker's second team in April 2025, going on to make 26 appearances and score once in the Landesliga in the 2025/26 season.
By September 2026 he had made six league appearances for the senior side and scored one goal. A right-footed defensive midfielder, he wears the number 12 shirt at Admira Wacker.
Glitia has also featured for Austria at youth level, with a cap for the national team's U19 and U18 age groups. At club level, he is not the only Glitia on Admira's books: his twin brother, Daniel, plays for the club as well.
