About the player
Carlos Enrique Rentería Olaya , known as Neneco, made his senior debut in 2013 and picked up the Superliga de Colombia the following year and the Primera A Apertura in 2015. A loan spell took him to Tigres UANL in 2016, where he added the Campeón de Campeones to his collection, before a second loan at FC Juárez. He won another Primera A Apertura in 2018 with Deportes Tolima.
In August 2020 he moved to Brazil to join Botafogo, who acquired 80% of his economic rights, though his contract there was terminated the following March and he had a brief stint at Sport Recife. He played with Académico de Viseu and then with Torreense, where he scored three goals in the Liga Portugal 2.
He joined Ethnikos Achna in January 2026 on a contract running to the end of June.
