About the player
Kirakosyan was born in Russia but built his international career with Armenia, making his debut for the under-19 side in June 2024 before adding caps at under-21 level.
He joined Sochi's youth setup in February 2023 and made his senior debut for the club in a Russian Cup tie against Orenburg that August. A loan to Avangard Kursk in the Second League brought 17 league appearances across the 2024–2025 season.
Kirakosyan left as a free agent in August 2025 and signed for Van in Armenia, scoring on his league debut against Urartu. He returned to Russia in July 2026 to join Spartak Kostroma. Since then he has made four league appearances and one cup outing for the First League club, drawing 1-1 with Ufa, beating Rotor Volgograd 1-0 and winning 1-0 away at Chelyabinsk, and has picked up a single yellow card along the way.
