Darío Fabián Pazmiño Daza

Darío Pazmiño has built his career in stints, rarely settling for more than a season before moving on. He started out at El Nacional, breaking into Serie A during the 2019–2020 campaign, then spent 2021 at Deportivo Cuenca, where he made seven appearances and scored once. A year in the second division followed with Cuniburo FC before a busier stretch: Libertad FC in Loja from January 2023, then a move to Macará that July, taking him through to early 2024.

In March 2024 he returned to El Nacional as a free agent, and it was there that his form drew the most attention. Across the 2025 Serie A season he scored two goals in 17 matches and was described in media reports as a key figure for the side. That spell ended amid reports of unpaid salaries at the club, before Pazmiño moved on to Leones del Norte in 2025.

He has played in continental competition, appearing in both the Copa Sudamericana and the Copa Libertadores with his previous clubs, though he has not been called up to Ecuador's senior national team. Comfortable with either foot, he has mostly operated through Serie A and Serie B sides rather than at the very top of the Ecuadorian game.
