Marcos Ledesma

Marcos Ledesma is a goalkeeper who has rarely stayed in one place long enough to settle. Born in Río Cuarto, Córdoba, he came through the youth ranks at Estudiantes de Río Cuarto before joining Quilmes, where he worked his way into the first team and made his debut in December 2017. He wore the captain's armband there during the 2019–20 season.

Ledesma trained with the Argentina senior squad under Lionel Scaloni in late 2020, though he has not added a senior international appearance to his name.

Since then, first-team football has come mostly through loan spells rather than a settled role at Defensa y Justicia. He went out to Platense in 2022, to Central Córdoba de Santiago del Estero in 2023, then to Gimnasia y Esgrima de La Plata in January 2024 on a season-long loan that carried an option to buy. That option was not exercised, and in January 2025 he moved again, to Barracas Central on a free loan without a purchase clause. His current loan at Instituto de Córdoba is set to run until the end of 2027.
