Sinomi Koyama

Shinomi Koyama made her professional debut for Cerezo Osaka Yanmar Ladies at the age of 13, having come through the club's Sakai Girls academy after starting out at Tsukahara Sun Club. She went on to win the Nadeshiko League Cup with Cerezo Osaka in 2019 and was named to the Nadeshiko League Division 1 Best XI in both 2021 and 2022, becoming the youngest player to receive the honour. In 2021 she also finished as the top scorer in the Empress's Cup.

A loan spell at INAC Kobe Leonessa in 2023 brought 13 appearances before Koyama moved abroad, joining Swedish side Djurgårdens IF on a three-year contract. She scored four goals in 21 appearances in the 2024 Damallsvenskan season. North Carolina Courage signed her in January 2025 for a fee reported at approximately $225,000, a club-record sale for Djurgårdens.

Koyama's international career has run in parallel with her club progress. She captained Japan's under-20 side to the runner-up spot at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup, playing every minute of the tournament, and had earlier won the AFC U-16 Women's Championship in 2019. She was part of the Japan squad that took gold at the 2022 Asian Games, played in 2023, and made her senior national team debut in October 2022 against New Zealand.
