Bevo HC 2 is its reserve side.

The parent club itself only took its current shape in 1987, when BEVO, based in the nearby village of Beringe, merged with Heldia, Panningen's own handball side. Both sides carry the yellow and green that gave the club its nickname, De Geel-Groenen , and both play out of SportArena De Heuf.

That first team has given the reserves something to aim at: a Dutch championship in 2013/14, a domestic cup in 2017/18, and three Supercups along the way. The name that still comes up when people talk about those years is Limburg Lions, the club against which Bevo HC met in that 2014 title final.

For the second team, promotion has never been the end of the story so much as the start of a harder one. Having climbed back up in 2024/25, the task now is simply holding that ground.
