Kielce Women

Handball there did not arrive with the men's team that later carried the city's name across Europe: it began in 1965, under the name Iskra Kielce, and only found its way to the club's current identity, Industria Kielce, after passing through Korona and then Vive along the way.

The women's section grew up inside that same structure, sharing the club's colours and its ground rather than building a separate following of its own. It plays in the Polish Superliga, the top flight of women's handball in the country, where fixtures against AZS Poznań and MKS Lublin carry the kind of needle that has nothing to do with the calendar and everything to do with history.

Hala Legionów holds 4,200 spectators.
