APEC Taxis Stadium

The ground sits in the Murdishaw estate. Runcorn Linnets have called it home since the summer of 2010, after a long period of moving between grounds. The facility was built from scratch on a council-owned site, a project funded by the Football Foundation and the local authority. It was always intended to be permanent, unlike the temporary arrangements that preceded it.

The capacity is small, but the layout is functional. The stands are not far from the pitch. The surface is a hybrid grass. There have been discussions about switching to a third-generation artificial pitch, but the current surface remains in place for now.

APEC Taxis Stadium is the current name, a title acquired in 2021 when the previous sponsor moved on.

It has also seen Liverpool Senior Cup semi-finals and the Cheshire Senior Cup final. The venue is not a destination for concerts or large gatherings.
