Stadium
Badgers Hill
Frome, United Kingdom
Formerly: Blindman's Brewery Stadium, The Alder Smith Stadium, The SpecialEffect Stadium
The site has changed hands several times, finally passing to the local council in August 2023.
The history of the place is recorded in the numbers of the crowd. On 20 November 1954, 8,000 people filed in for an FA Cup first-round match against Leyton Orient. The visitors won 3–0.
The physical plant has evolved to meet the demands of the time. More recently, between 2022 and 2023, the council invested over £1 million in the infrastructure, replacing the clubhouse roof and updating the changing rooms. The club, founded in 1904, has never played elsewhere.
