Blaise Park

The ground sits on land that was once water, reclaimed from the estuary. It is not the prettiest approach in Cornwall. There is a Range supermarket across the road, and the queue for the bus passes the turnstile, so the boundary between the pitch and the town is thin. The building on the hill is older than the shop, and it has not changed its shape much since it opened in 1906.

The surface is natural grass, kept firm by the wind that comes off the water. The floodlights were added in November 1989, and they replaced the originals from the late 1950s; the match that night was a friendly against Plymouth Argyle, and the lights made the stadium the first in Cornwall to have them. The capacity is 3,500, but the record attendance of over 6,500 was set in 1949 during a Cornwall Senior Cup match against St Austell, a game that is still remembered in the town.

The club was founded in 1896 and moved here when the ground was ready, so the history is continuous. They reached the Fourth Qualifying Round of the FA Cup in the 1998–99 season and compete in the FA Vase, but the most tangible memory is the 2018 Cornwall Senior Cup final, when Mousehole defeated Saltash United 3–1 after extra time. The name has never changed, and it is always Blaise Park, named after the town's patron saint. The stadium does not have its own website, so the results and the fixtures are found on social media and third-party platforms, but the gate at Station Road remains the same.
