Borovište
Unešić, Croatia
Stadion Borovište does not announce itself. It sits in the village of Unešić, a quiet corner of Šibenik-Knin County, where the club NK Zagora Unešić has played since 1948. The pitch is natural grass.
The capacity is listed as 2,500, though the numbers shift depending on who is counting. What matters is the space itself. In 2024, work began again. A new pitch was laid, and red seats appeared for the youth team.
The only time the ground truly woke up was on 12 November 2008. The Croatian Cup quarter-final brought Dinamo Zagreb to Unešić. The match ended 2–1 to the visitors, but the memory belongs to the crowd. Six thousand five hundred people arrived, far more than the official capacity allowed. Three men from Knin were detained for carrying a baseball bat.
The ground returns to its usual state.
