CC Amfi

The only indoor arena in Hamar. CC Amfi opened on November 25, 1992, built to host figure skating and short-track speed skating for the 1994 Winter Olympics.

The capacity is not fixed. It sits around 7,500 for ice hockey, though some sources cite 7,500 as a maximum configuration. The all-time attendance record is 7,405, set during Game 7 of the 2004–05 GET-ligaen playoff finals between Storhamar and Vålerenga.

Storhamar Hockey, formerly Storhamar Dragons, calls it home. The team plays in the Norwegian GET-ligaen, the top tier of Norwegian ice hockey. They are the primary tenants. The arena hosted the 1999 IIHF World Championship, the 2012 IPC Ice Sledge Hockey World Championships, and the 2016 Winter Youth Olympics. It also hosts the annual Idrettsgallaen sports awards.

The name has changed. It was originally named Hamar Olympic Amphitheatre from 1992 to 2015. In October 2015, naming rights were sold to the telecommunications company CC, and it was renamed CC Amfi. It is also known as Nordlyshallen, a name that stuck even after the commercial shift. A new media cube was installed in 2016.
