Dalumhallerne

The Dalumhallerne sits in the Dalum district of Odense. The complex has two halls: Dalumhal 1, which opened in 1967, and Dalumhal 2, added later.

Inside, the halls are divided for multiple activities. The floors cover volleyball, handball and badminton, with courts marked on the same surfaces depending on the day. HC Odense, the men's handball team, plays its home matches here. DHV Odense uses the space for volleyball, while the Dalum Idræts-Forening runs badminton sessions. The beach volleyball courts sit outside, behind the main halls.

The venue has hosted events beyond sport. A 60s revival concert in May 2011 brought Herman’s Hermits and The Searchers to the hall, while an MMA Gala in April 2022 placed Ali Reza Rasuli against Simon Seiler in the main event. These occasions do not change the building's character — it remains an indoor sports complex managed by Odense Municipality.

The original hall dates to 1967, with the second addition coming in 1987. No official name changes have occurred, and the complex has kept its identity since opening. The beach volleyball courts are permanent fixtures, managed by the Odense Beachvolleyklub, and sit at the edge of the property where the grass meets the gravel path.

There are no grand stands or iconic features. The building is part of the suburb's infrastructure, used daily by local clubs and occasionally for larger events. The complex serves the district.
