Estadio Ka'a Poty

The arena sits in Obligado, a town in the Itapúa Department of Paraguay. The floor is wood. It is a parquet surface that has been installed specifically for ball games played indoors.

The facility is known locally as Estadio Ka'a Poty, though it often carries the longer title of Municipal Ka'a Poty. It is owned by the town council. The space was not built for football; it was built for basketball and indoor soccer, known here as fútbol de salón.

The club that calls this place home is Colonias Gold. The arena sees them play, but it also hosts other teams. The Final Four of the National U17 Basketball Tournament was held here in May 2024. The 2025 Clausura finals pitted Olimpia Kings against Colonias Gold within these walls. The Confederación Paraguaya de Básquetbol sends its youth tournaments here: U17, U16, U14, U13, and U21 teams gather for matches.

It is not only sport that fills the room. The 'Acto de Traspaso de Mando' takes place here. It is a handover of command ceremony for local authorities. It is also the site for rounds of the National Salonismo Championship, a ballroom dance event. The venue does not host professional football matches or large concerts.
