The Estádio Municipal Sílvio Porto is in the Assis Chateaubriand neighborhood of Guarabira. While the city is small, the ground has a history that predates its current administrative status. The club Associação Desportiva Guarabira plays there, and the stadium has hosted significant local finals, including the Campeonato Paraibano Second Division title matches in 1995 and 2009. The venue opened on August 25, 1963, but it has not always been a municipal facility; the Guarabira city government purchased the ground in 2006, converting it into a public asset. That acquisition came decades after the club had already established itself locally.

What makes this ground different is that it is about to change shape. The stadium is currently undergoing its first major renovation in 60 years, a project that started in October 2025. The work involves rebuilding the grandstands and adding new locker rooms. The figures are uncertain, as sources disagree on whether the capacity sits at 3,000 or 4,000, so the exact future number remains unclear. The current state of the pitch is natural grass. The stadium also hosted a charity match featuring former players on December 4, 2024. The renovation is valued at approximately R$ 1.4 million.
