The Gerhard-Graf-Halle is located in the Mitte district of Freiburg im Breisgau.

Inside, the atmosphere is defined more by its history of maintenance than by architectural brilliance. The hall serves as the home for HSG Freiburg, most notably the Red Sparrows women's team. While the capacity is modest, seating 450 spectators, the surface is an indoor sports floor, though its condition has been a constant point of contention. Water damage from an unsealed roof once forced a complete overhaul, leading to a renovation costing roughly 1.2 million Euros.

The facility was completed in 1990 under the direction of the Architektengruppe F70. Since then, it has hosted not only handball but also hockey training for FT 1844 Freiburg.
